Calais Angelby ~capsicum

I was in the middle of another Care Bear when the Garbage song "My Lover's Box" started playing. Because of the lyrics which go "Send me an angel to love. I need to feel a little piece of heaven...", I immediately thought of Halo and stopped drawing Tenderheart and started drawing a torso. (I always start with the torso. Usually the shoulders.) But when I went to add Halo's head, annoyingly, it just didn't fit. I figured that Calais is my next most angelic character being birdy and all, so I drew his head and, hurrah, it worked.

I know this isn't very refined but I like it. I don't often leave pictures in this state but sometimes it's good to be more loose. Sometimes I think I overwork things. One day, I'll draw a chibi Calais. *sigh* My list is neverending.

BTW, I'm well aware that the majority of you are watching me purely for the chibis but it's nice to take a break sometimes and draw things that are for myself and my own enjoyment rather than what I know people want to see. So... nuts to you! <3
