It felt like ages since I'd done an FF chibi so I whipped this one up in about an hour this afternoon. I quite like it. Quetzocotl was never a favourite, and I could never quite work out exactly what it was, but I thought it deserved the chibi treatment.

Lightning effects done in Photoshop. (Which reminds me I was supposed to write a little tutorial on lightning. X_X )
Everything else in Open Canvas.

Very cute, although the chibiness doesn't come across as cute as usual, due to Quezacotl's lack of EYES!

Random Factoid, in case you don't know this: In FF8, for some reason, Quezacotl is a bird, although the name is a shortened version of Quetzacoatl, an Aztec snake god...Ooookay then! When Cortez came to the Aztec's home in search of gold, they thought that he was Quetzacoatl, as the human version had alabaster skin...and so did Cortez. Then, he killed them all...it's quite sad.

heh heh, I always wondered what quetzocotl was myself...snake - bird like creature, bah. I used him quite a fair bit back when I played ff8 but I didn't really like the guardian forces that much (maybe except alexander) . Anywho, I really like the lightning effects ^^ even without the eyes, it's still pretty cool :)

I always thought those things were really neat, not ugly, sorta pretty. you've made them cute. ^_^ I still think you should give a Marlboro a shot.
