Wherever the Wind Takes Me by capsicum Wherever the Wind Takes Me by capsicum
Jumpluff is one of my favourite, cute yet useless Pokemon. All the evolutionary forms of this Pokemon are cute, but Jumpluff is my favourite form. ^_^

Because, apparently they let the wind carry them around, that's what I drew. I also wanted a nice windy, yet warm, sunny day feel to the pic. I'm really happy with the outcome. :D

Enjoy.

Awww, it's so darn cute!! >/////<

The sad thing is that if they were real, I would not probably not be able to go near one. T.T

I also heart and cute the Jumpluffs. And the Hoppip and Skiploom too.

But!

Jumpluff isn't useless. You just have to know how to be cottony-drift-quick. ^_^ Excellent choice for Sunny Day- and wouldn't you want to keep something like this cottonpuff in the sun?

Loving the rich purple color and the shading of the background.

Actually, Jumpluff is one of the greatest Pokémon out there in competitive battling. :B You wouldn't have thought of that, heh?

Besides that, your picture is really beautiful. I love how you worked with the colors and gave that windy feel to the sky. :)

Cute, Jumpluff! I always feel dorky liking those cute little Pokemon, but then I see a cool artist draw them. XD I like Jumpluff, he's so blissfull in Pokemon Colloseum. I so spelled that wrong. Anyway, you drew it very cute, and it looks so free!

I do, but only because I unfortunately do not have a choice. Hopefully someday I will be able to afford a tablet though..! *luxury* But thanks for the comment, likewise, on that... having to use a mouse is likely one of the reasons my projects often take me forever. x.x;

And also, you're welcome. Like I said, it really is a great pic even if Jumpluff isn't my first choice of pokémon.

Well I'm not really a Jumpluff fan by any means (I answer more to the sneaky, stylish, sensational charms of Poison pokémon :evil: ), but of course that doesn't mean I can't like this pic.

It's the coloring job mostly, I think. It just has such fantastic -texture- to it, like the puffs actually LOOK like they would feel cottony and whatever. To me it looks more like traditional medium than digital but that's likely because the only program *I* have to work with is Photoshop (and a limited, outdated edition of it what's more... with a mouse!). I so wish I had Painter... ;.;

Anyway though, very nice work.

Do you do lineart with the mouse in Photoshop? If so, you're pretty darn skilled at it. I was horrendous with using a mouse! X_X

Hitmonchan isn't cute, in my opinion. He's too humanoid and not... round enough. :P Other cute pokemon - mareep, ampharos, wooper, lanturn, hoppip, skiploom, wailmer... probably more. :D

Wailmer? I'm SO lost on the whole Pkemon shamizzle... Gold/Silver versions were the last versions I played. There's like what, 350 now? Oh, and I meant Hitmontop, not Hitmonchan. Heh, stupid me. I get confused with those two. But yeah, a lot of them are pretty cute, though. Which could probably explain it's large fanbase. Although, I'm trying to figure out why half my school is obsessed with Spongebob Dorkpants...

Yeah, there are WAY too many pokemon now, it's kind of crazy. I'm surprised they are still making new pokemon games - I thought the fad was over. No one I know of here is obsessed with Spongebob. :o

Well, the Pokemon fad has pretty much been taken over with Yu-Gi-Oh. So this is what I hear all day: "Dude. I'll trade you my HOUSE for that Blue-eyes White Dragon, man! I'll be your SLAVE! C'mon man, I'm beggin' ya', please!" Yeah, I haven't heard too much of the Pokeman trading cards for quite a while. Just commercials. But the games were actually quite fun. Too bad their TV show sucks...

Ugh. Yu-Gi-Oh. I detest that nearly as much as Dragonball. I did actually like the Pokemon TV show, though. It was light and easy to watch and Team Rocket were cool. :D

And then you made the Team Rocket Chibis. Oh yeah, Dragonball. Those people need some Laxatives and a bit of estrogen. The testostrone in that show was ridiculous! It's amazing that no one had facial hair in that show! It makes me wonder how that show became so popular...

which pokemon is this one from? I played red version way back in the day and started gold.. but lost intrest because I had no one to play with *sniff* now there are so many I'm not sure which to pick. >,< and I had thought I was all cool being able to name all 150 of the original pokemon.. now there are SO many more >,<
awe well.
he/she/ it looks so very happy! (why are they useless? )

Hmm.... I don't know. Maybe! :D

Jumpluff's from the second lot of Pokemon so I guess it's in all the games after that. I discovered it in Pokemon Crystal. I didn't play them that much, either, because I was just using emulators and clock based events wouldn't work for some reason, and I couldn't trade etc and I guess it just became a bit monotonous catching and raising hundreds of pokemon. X_X

*laughs* I could never name them all. I was never *that* into it.

Jumpluff are useless because they do NO damage it seems. Mine was only on lv 30 but still, it did the tiniest bits of damage and took heaps. I guess (and hope) they get stronger if you train them more, but I couldn't be bothered finding out. All I know is they're cute. :D
